Medieval Chronicles / B6 blank

The original historical artwork featured on this notebook cover is titled "Moorish Ornament LXXIX" (Plate 79) from the iconic design sourcebook The Grammar of Ornament, published in 1856 by the influential British architect and designer Owen Jones. This specific plate compiles a magnificent variety of medieval and Moorish architectural patterns, geometric borders, illuminated manuscript scrolls, and heraldic mythical creatures (like the winged griffin and stag seen in the central panels).

A personal zibaldone for notes, sketches and collected thoughts.
